Make Germany and Europe more successful and worth living!
Digitalisation and globalization are causing - and increasingly noticeable - major changes in all areas of our lives. We're doing things in real time today that used to take hours, days, or weeks, and become part of global digital business models and value creation strategies. But we also know that digitization in many areas of the economy and life will leave no stone unturned. It changes communication, mobility and our social interaction - even our democracy. Therefore, the state itself is more than ever required as a knowledgeable and possibly also controlling-regulating actor. It is important that state and administration do not slow down and that the digital gap between developments in the private sector and the public sector is closed.
Politics has recognized this necessity; hardly any speech today does not evoke the CHALLENGES of DIGITALISATION and AUTOMATION. Germany and Europe need agile and innovative (and service-oriented) state structures and administrations in order to consolidate our location in international competition. However, the path from realization to implementation is difficult.
This is exactly where the Future Congress State & Administration, since 2013 the leading event of the Public Sector for Digital Transformation under the patronage of the Federal Minister of the Interior, Building and Homeland, is strategically involved. Every year it takes fundamental questions of structures, organization and processes, leadership and personnel management with the new possibilities of disruptive technologies in its strategic vision. The Future Congress State & Administration helps to seize and exploit the opportunities of the digital revolution. It not only looks at the digital offerings of the economy, but picks up the administration from where it is today with its questions and problems, so that the future can be mastered together.
Because: "Digitalisation is not about technology. It's about people."
